Nancy Drew Library Editions
Wanderer and Minstrel Picture Covers

These library-bound hardcovers of the Wanderer and Minstrel books have the cover illustration printed on the actual library binding. These editions were bound by TT, Perma-Bound, and Demco. Some of the more recent titles can still be purchased from Demco.

TT Binding

It appears that only the Wanderer titles were bound by TT. The Nancy Drew and the Hardy Boys Wanderer Be a Detective titles were also bound by TT in hardcover editions. The back cover of each of these books is marked "TT" in a small circle and has a spattered two-color design. Most of the bindings have a rough, textured surface, while some are textured and glossy.

Perma-Bound Binding

The Perma-Bound books are not as sturdy as other library bindings, and as a result, are usually in bad shape when discarded from libraries. The cover art appears to be photocopied from the original editions, and the reproduction on many of the books is below average to poor in quality as to color and detail.

Demco and Demco Turtleback Binding

The Demco books are nice quality hardcovers with excellent color and detail reproduction to the cover art, which is printed directly on the binding. The covers have a textured, high-gloss finish.
